When and where is it?

  • Date: Sunday, October 30th 2016
  • When: Gates open at 10AM
  • Location: 80 Acres

How do I qualify?

There are 2 ways to qualify for the Buckeye FPV Racing Championship.

  1. Place 1st through 5th in our Buckeye FPV 2016 Summer Series points standing. (The races which count for this are: May, July A, July B, August, September)
  2. Place 1st through 3rd in our day-of qualifier race for those not 1st - 5th in points. You must have competed in at least one of the Buckeye FPV 2016 Summer Series points races. (The races which count for this are: May, July A, July B, August, September)

How much does it cost?

  • Pilot fee - $15
  • Spectators - free
  • Those who qualify for the championship only pay once, not twice.

What are the race formats?

Qualifier - Three Round Race Format

  • Fixed Time: 2:00
  • 1 practice round, 3 race rounds.
  • Scored by most laps accumulated.
  • After time expires, complete and count your lap.
  • Top 3 pilots advance, ties are determined by race-off.

Championship - Double Elimination Brackets

  • Heads up racing.
  • First to finish X laps. X to be determined.
  • Top 2 of each bracket advance, bottom 2 of each bracket drop to losers bracket.
  • Double elimination until final race.

  • 4S MAX Battery
  • 6” MAX Prop
  • 305mm MAX Frame
