In this uncharted territory of lockdowns and quarantines, Velocidrone and MultiGP are very happy to be able to bring you the first ever MultiGP and Velocidrone crossover series, and it’s coming in hot! For the first time ever, starting NEXT WEEK, Velocidrone pilots will have a chance to win a Pro Class Wildcard slot for the 2020 MultiGP Championship via a sim tournament. Hosted by Colby Curtola and our friends at VRL and with commentating by everyone’s favorite Joe Scully plus other special guests, there will be a series of four qualifier sim races on Tuesday nights March 24, March 31, April 7, and April 14 at 9PM ET.
The top six pilots from each of the four qualifying races will then advance to the championship sim race on Sunday April 19th at high noon ET. In order to give more pilots a chance to compete, once you place top six in one of the qualifiers you won’t be able to compete in any remaining qualifiers. The winner of the championship sim race will walk away with their spot in the Pro Class champs locked up, plus other prizes to be announced for the winners and top finishers. And if you don’t have Velocidrone yet, the official sim of MultiGP and the only way to win a slot in the real world MultiGP 2020 Pro Class Championship without actually racing a real drone, go get it!
