Sebring Drone Race 2017 Track Flyover

Drone racing, the fastest growing sport in the world, is taking off at the Sebring U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida, January 26 – 28, 2017. Sebring Expo has teamed up with MultiGP Drone Racing, Urban Drones, FPV Racing Events and FPVlive.tv to bring you, the pilots and the spectators, an unbelievable experience in FPV Drone Racing. The top pilots in the country will be competing for more than $20,000 in cash and prizes with the 1st place winner walking away with the Title of Winner of the First Annual Sebring Drone Racing Challenge 2017 and $10,000 in cash!

This event will put the spectators in middle of the action, with a unique, fully enclosed area in the center of the racing course. This netted in area will contain several multi-view monitors, 65” flat panel TVs, and a huge 14’ X 7’ projection screen that will transport the spectators “into” the drones as they fly over and around the enclosed spectator section. Ride along as these high-tech race drones fly through challenging and unique (rumors of full-sized decommissioned aircraft on the course abound) race course specifically designed for this event. For those of you unable to make the event, FPVlive.tv will be streaming the event live, bringing the action to everyone across the globe. This race is being hosted by Urban Drones, sanctioned by MultiGP, directed by Joe Scully, and streamed live by FPVlive.tv.

Some of the fastest pilots around will be competing in the race. There are over 100 pilots signed up for this event, some coming from as far away as South Africa, and quite a few famous pilots from the drone racing community will be there. The $20,000 purse and $10,000 1st place has attracted the top pilots from around the world; pilots like Brian “BrainDrainx” Morris, Mackenna “McFly” McClure, Anthony “NUBZ” Rosario, Cody “CodeRed” Matson, Bapu “BAPU” Madhu, Chris “GARZ” Garza and Cain “MAD_AIR” Madere, to name just a few. Our MultiGP National Champion, Shaun “NYTFURY” Taylor, will be also be present to give the other pilots a run for their money. Based on the caliber of competitors that will be attending this race, the action will be fast-paced, and nonstop.

The action starts on Thursday, January 26th, with registration and practice sessions. The final race will start 1PM on Saturday, January 28th. Remember that those unable to attend can catch the action streamed live on FPVlive.tv throughout the event. If you are near Sebring Florida, stop by the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo and see the MultiGP drone racing action in person; it’s an event you won’t soon forget!
