MultiGP pilots have been flying their hearts out this month on the DRL Simulator, and that is because there is a dream contract up for grabs. The top MultiGP pilot on the 2018 Swatch DRL Tryouts leaderboard will get a chance to compete in the live eSports tournament in February 2018. One skilled MultiGP pilot from the US (age 18 and up) will be earning an all-expense paid trip to the event in New York City, and the pilots are putting in laps to see who will earn that spot. This week we are going to look at the MultiGP pilots who are tearing up the leaderboard.

The Leaderboard is filled with MultiGP Pilots

The first week of competition was amazing, with MultiGP pilots holding all but two of the top 25 positions on the leaderboard. Sitting in the top spot was Brodie “Robogenisis” Springer, a top MultiGP pilot from the state of Washington. Rounding out the top 5 were Anthony “PewPew” Karabain (3rd), Andy “PEATZAH” Pacholski (4th), and Nelson “Kreul” Aquino (5th). These pilots are taking their real-world drone racing skills and putting them to good use as they all compete for a professional drone racing contract with the DRL.

Pilots Pick Up The Pace For Week 2

Week 2 is seeing the leaderboard still filled with MultiGP pilots, as they jockey for position. The current fastest time is still held by Robogenisis at 3:14:20. There is currently a 31.58-second spread from first place to fifth.

  1. ROBOGENISIS (03:14:20)
  2. PEWPEW (03:21:96)
  3. FPVRDAN1 (03:27:86)
  4. BKFPV (03:41:67)
  5. KRUEL (03:45:78)

Don’t forget, the top 5 MultiGP pilots on the leaderboard will receive their own DRL Racer3 racing drone! There are several ways for MultiGP pilots to win, follow this LINK to see all the prizes that MultiGP pilots are able to receive.
