For the 2021 Season, MultiGP is introducing a new way to progress to our Championships. There will be up to 12 Elevated Races that will be approved by MultiGP and it’s Advisory Team. The races will be required to have a “Top” bracket and a “Next” bracket. The winner of the top bracket will receive a Wildcard invite to the Pro Class Championship, meaning an invite and guarantee of being in the Top 40. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers of the “top bracket” will earn an invite to Pro Class Championships.
Limits: Chapters within a 3-4 hour drive are encouraged to work together
Number Of Pilots: 24 minimum – No Upper Limit
Number Per Heat: Minimum 3 pilots
Progression: Top-3 from each race will be invited to Pro Class, winner of the “next” bracket will win a FREE ticket to Sport Champs
Season Length: 12:01am March 20th – 11:59pm September 6th, 2021
Approval timeline: Feb 20th – April 30th > First half of Race approvals. June 1st – July 31st > Second half of Race approvals
Chapters across the globe can host Elevated Races and attempt to send their best pilots to the 2021 MultiGP Championship.
MultiGP is the largest professional drone racing league in the world. Because of this, MultiGP hosts frequent competitive gatherings and casual events within its extensive network. The Organization currently has over 30,000 registered pilots in addition to 500 active chapters worldwide. MultiGP nurtures its Chapters by providing tools, guidance and community support. Due to this structure drone racing is fun, organized and rewarding for pilots, Chapter Organizers and spectators.
