MultiGP is proud to announce the world’s largest sim event to date, the MultiGP Virtual Open, powered by VelociDrone.
Starting Sunday August 9 and running through Thursday August 13, the MultiGP Virtual Open will feature six core classes for competition: Pro, Sport, Rookie, Mega, Tiny Whoop and Team. In addition to the six core classes and in the spirit of the MultiGP International Open, there will also be a chapter organizer race and an over-40 race. With over $4,000 in prizes already lined up from our amazing sponsors plus random drawings, Hydra gamification and other giveaways, there is sure to be plenty of fun to go around!
While we are aware that this event doesn’t make up for missing IO this summer, current 2021 IO ticket holders will be able to participate in the MultiGP Virtual Open for free, while non-IO ticket holders will be subject to a nominal fee.

MultiGP is the largest professional drone racing league in the world. Because of this, MultiGP hosts frequent competitive gatherings and casual events within its extensive network. The Organization currently has over 30,000 registered pilots in addition to 500 active chapters worldwide. MultiGP nurtures its Chapters by providing tools, guidance and community support. Due to this structure drone racing is fun, organized and rewarding for pilots, Chapter Organizers and spectators.
